Living my dream in Barcelona
Back in 1989, when visiting Barcelona on an art college trip, I fell in love with the city and said to myself, this is where I want to make ceramics. However, life took me on a different journey in London for 17 years, but in 2004 I made the leap and came to live in Barcelona. I rediscovered ceramics a few years later, and this became the starting point of my journey as a ceramic artist and I have recently started exhibiting my work.
My ceramics are quirky sculptures that carry stories and experiences, and, as a lover of modern architecture, travelling, and aviation, these passions are very much reflected in my work.
Ultimately my goal is to excite the viewer through conveying my passions for cities, buildings, and aviation.
I have a degree in 3D Design (Ceramics) from Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts, years of teaching experience, and have set up and managed two ceramics studios.
